A clean pool or spa filter is integral to a healthy pool or spa. As part of our filter cleaning service, filters are periodically rinsed or backwashed to improve flow but occasionally need to be taken apart and cleaned thoroughly of grease, oils and mineral deposits that build up over time. Swimming pool filters are cleaned at least once year, often twice a year or more depending on swimmer load as well as the amount of debris that ends up in the pool. When filters are cleaned, they are taken apart and inspected for cracks and leaks, while media and seals are replaced if necessary.
